yeah well can't say that i haven't felt that way before. actually, it happens a couple times a year and i think it's cuz im manic depressive or something. the worst was when i quit drugs, smoking, drinking, weed, altogether after a, basically, five or so year binge essentially since i started all of them and it just snowballed into a downward spiral (so cliche of a phrase anymore...bleh...i still love much nin though - call me a tool or a fag or whatever but reptile is a badass song along with others in my opinion)
have you been to jam crib before? i plan on checking it out sometime this week with some kid i work with who is 17 and my sort of 'protege' or 'work in progress' or 'jedi padawan' in a sense i guess at guitar. i'm tryin to mold him into the next dave mustaine or something. im gonna stand in for at least a handful of songs with my best friends oldest brothers band on halloween at the bar he runs and step dad owns and shit...if i could get people together you could have some sort of thing to focus on or whatever and try to play a small set cuz im sure he'd let me if i had something lined up...it couldn't be crazy fucking hardcore stuff really though, mostly jamming, bluesy'ish slightly heavy preferrably cover type things as far as the crowd goes for the bar. i doubt there would be any pay involved but you'd be in a bar and not 21 and get to have some fun and shit...of course, you'd be able to drink or smoke or whatever im sure just on the low key and not from the bartedner... holllllaaaa
i would def. play music for no pay. especially if there's booze involved. haha. im still in illinois. im just kind of living day to day, not really sure what's next. we'll see what happens within the next few weeks.
