I've been recording the live 8 concert for 9 hours now. When it went off of vh1, I moved to abc. Abc is doing two hours of recap stuff. I know Def Leppard performed, but so far haven't seen them. At least I saw Velvet Revolver, the Who, and (Oh My God) Pink Floyd!!! Wow, that was so phenomenal.
I really hope these concerts make a difference on the day the G8 meets. Eight rich men, meeting in a five star hotel on a golf course in Scotland to make global decisions.

I think they have no clue what my life is like, much less what life is like for a woman in a country far far away who is struggling in poverty to raise (keep alive) children, on a few cents a day (if that!). But I do hope those 8 hear the PEOPLE, and do the right thing. It doesn't take much to make a difference and be part of a collective effort to raise people up, instead of keeping them down.
