So for those of you who know Laibach, you know that one of their most commonly used tropes is to take a seemingly innocent pop song, and in re-doing it Laibach style, revealing the hidden fascist marching anthems contained within. I wasn't aware you could get gayer looking than Freddie Mercury singing this song but you have shown me the error of my ways.
The contrast between growling German lyrics and the shirtless army man from a queer 80's band look was hot.

I love that in the far shots, he looks kind of muscular because he's backlit... but then it zooms in and it becomes evident he weights all of 140 pounds soaking wet. And yes, it definitely takes some effort to out-gay this-era Freddy Mercury, but he pulls it off.

Then again, if you want the ULTIMATE combination of growling Germans and super-gay iconography... may I present Rammstein performing MANN GEGEN MANN:

I haven't the words. Seriously.
I could have gone my whole life without seeing that man in a pvc speedo and been just fine. I think now that I *have* seen that man in a pvc speedo I might never be fine again though.
