They had been young and foolish. And curious. It had happened before either of them even became men. Little boys who had the whole summer with each other…

Now, they didn’t even think about it anymore. Not always, anyway. It’s not as if they regretted it. It’s just in the past.

They pass each other on the street. They meet for business in Boyd’s bar, and not one word about that summer leaves either of their mouths. It’s their secret, and it’s like it never happened. But it did.

But Raylan and Boyd, they are the only ones that know.
