Transformers fans, eat your hearts out
Today turned out to be an interesting day. I had to go into the heart of downtown Detroit to pick up some court documents today, and when I got to the building, I found all the streets around it blocked off and a ton of people in front of it. I parked a few blocks away and ran up to the building, but a crew guy stopped me and told me that I couldn't go any further because they were filming a movie. "Which movie?" Asked I. "Transformers." Said He.
Zomg. Movie Filming.
So I skirted the block looking for an entrance and hoping to see the stunt before I left, but alas every exit was blocked. I ran into a cute crew girl who explained everything to me and, after hearing my story, said she'd try and get me into the building. Then out of nowhere she shouted "Rolling!" into her headpiece, and three inconspicuous cars parked five feet from me took off. I thought they were fucking parked there, but it turns out they were destined to crash into a truck, which then exploded, sending wooden pallets everyhwere. I was twenty feet from a fucking stunt explosion, and quite possibly in the shot too!!
But yeah, beyond that silliness, I completed three chapters of a new story and I'm handing it in for peer review tomorrow. If you'd like a copy (or more of a copy, for those I've already sent some too) then comment and ask, and I'll e-mail it to you.
