Title: Community At The Moves
Fandom: Community + Multiple Movies
Song & Artist: Medicine by Broken Bells
Description: DO YOU LIKE COMMUNITY? DO YOU LIKE MOVIES? Well then this video is... Actually it's pretty all over the place and I really don't know what I was doing and just...forgive me? I thought it would be fun to highlight a bunch of the Homage/Parody stuff they do frequently in Community. I even came up with a new word for it! #ExplainABrag
This is what I get when I spend way too much time re-watching Community, reading the Community Wiki, and recreating Fonts.
AND BEFORE YOU START YELLING AT ME IN THE COMMENTS I KNOW I FORGOT ROBOCOP. I'm just as bummed about it as you are!

TO TAKE INTO CONSIDERATION: I feel it should be noted that there are many references I left out. Some were intentional, others were just an oversight. Dawn of the Dead was intentional, because I didn't want so many movie names popping up in what was essentially a 3 second section, Predator was an oversight, I seriously completely forgot, especially because Community has a way of referencing many movies/genres with one simple scene. There are movies I completely left out like 'Catfish" but only because the reference itself was just so small, and there simply wasn't enough song. Not all scenes will match the reference because, again, not enough song, but each clip is at least from the episode the reference comes from.

I'm forever grateful for the feedback and support, and forever embarrassed that I spelled "Reflecting" wrong. I swear I just copy and pasted both definitions for Parody & Homage...

As a side note this video has really been making the rounds, and I'm in complete shock about it. Multiple people have sent me links to blogs this is being mentioned in:
Vulture
Nerdist
Slate
Zimbio
GeekoSystem

And while the title seems to be misleading since I never claimed this was EVERY movie reference, I'm still totes honored people are discussing it.
Also, I'm trying to find a way to contact some of them in order to get them to credit my screename or at least my actual name. I didn't realize I hadn't changed my Vimeo settings since I got married, so that's just a name I no longer go by. If anyone knows of a way to do that I'd be forever grateful for the help.
