A Sad Moment in History
I'm sure many of you have heard what is going on with NBC and the Tonight Show with Conan O'Brien, but if you haven't here's the gist of it, as well as my thoughts on it.
A while back Conan took over the Tonight Show after Jay announced he was leaving to do his 'own thing' (consisting of the same things he did on the Tonight Show only at an earlier time). Because of "rating" issues after Conan took over (rating is in quotation marks because I beleive the only people not liking the show were the old people who had disturbing crushes on Jay Leno) NBC has decided to pull the plug on him. After only months. THIS ANGERS THE HELL OUT OF ME
It's a sad testament to us as a nation when things like the "Twilight 'teenybopper/disturbing' Saga" is the number one movie in America and shows like 7th Heaven remain on the air for longer than they should (meaning it should have ended half way into it's first dumbass season) When Conan has been around for years, has proven himself to a network time and time again that he has loyal fans and is still getting a foot in the ass. What has the world come to?! Somebody tell me, cause I really want to understand.
