think of this as a test of the imagination.
tell me if you see it, that tree outside the window in your mind. not too tall of a tree, almost to shoulder height. look at the trunk of the tree, see where the bark is scraped, almost torn off, in places. And just by judgeing from the size of the limbs, very small and thin, you can tell its not really that old of a tree. the limbs them self are almost reed like in nature, with very few small oval shaped leaves. looking at where it is in the ground, there is a circle of freshly dug up dirt, almost as if this was freshly planted in the ground.
now look at the knife im holding in your mind. i use the word knife losely here, as this could easily be considered a sword. the handel is looped with a coil of rope thats black with little red flecks in it. The blade is almost machete like in shape. dirty, rusty, worn by age and notched in some places. the only thing that looks new on it is the edge of the blade, freshly sharpened. The shining silver almost reflecting the light back.
Stil With Me? ...Good, this is where it gets interesting.
Now see that blade cutting through the air with a casual flick of the wrist. the edge of the blade caught the middle of the tree and cut through it efforlessly, seperating the tree in two. now tell me this, how does the tree fall in your mind? im quite curious to know...
