Earlier today, I was staring out my window, greeting the birds that were sitting on the electricity wires connected to my house. I try to take a photo of them, but usually, everytime, just before I press down on the button, they fly off and leave me watching the electricity wire wobble for the next minute. Today, there was this bird which kept going back to the same spot, and onto the tree. I noticed that there seem to be a darker blob on the tree as well. Initially, I thought it to be a fat bird, but it was strange, the texture of it differed from the moving bird, but I could see a moving yellow beak there. It didn't move much, so I was worried it could be injured. But then, after much examining, I realised that it was a bird nest, with little birds sitting there. New life is amazing - so innocent, so pure.

When you see a newborn creature, do you think... ah..it's so beautiful, or do you sympathise with it, being brought into a cold, cruel world? It's kind of sad, little delicate creatures - animals and humans - brutually forced into a harsh society.

I must say - those little birds have cheered me up quite a bit. I got exam results last week, and the nicest way to put it, is that it is a big wake up call. And, I'm the type of person who gets motivated by good results, not bad. *sigh*

Currently, the bird parents are energetically flying back and forth, with food, I suppose. The babies are chirping happily. Bird-mama, happy mother's day.
