The sun has finally broke through!
I was able to crack open my windows a little bit today and let out some much needed dust! I am taking a break between cleaning everything. I swear, I don't think it's ever been this bad. A full year of working full time and then some, and not much time for cleaning and have been traveling more this year (short weekend trips to release some stress). Yikes, I am cleaning one layer only to find there were 10 layers under it. Well, here goes. It has to be done, and in this economy, we definitely can't afford a housecleaner...not this month anyway...
I haven't taken pictures, but yesterday, my living room was full of bags of dirty laundry. I was at the laundry mat pretty much the whole day yesterday (with my toddler, which is no easy task!) and I'm still not even half way done! I have to go to the laundry mat again tonight to get another chunk out of the way. I have 2 giant trash bags full of clothes to bring to the thrift store to donate. And I'm trying to fill another one, which won't be too hard. I haven't even gotten to the shoes or underneath my bed.
I did get all the Christmas stuff out, including presents, which I plan to wrap as soon as I get everything else done in the living room and kitchen. We should be getting a tree tonight, that will brighten things up in here and inspire me to clean some more. I really feel like taking a nap right now, but no time for it. Maybe I'll have a 10 minute cat nap when my son takes a nap...let me rephrase that, IF he will slow down enough to take a nap!
