it's a beautiful thing
so here it is....my first taste [or tease..] of christmas vacation bliss. but FUCKING A.... not only do i have 4 ONLINE QUIZZES...but i have to do an entire lesson of theory [2 hrs]....work on my final composition [another 2 hrs]...and work on jury music [5 hrs or so...but not consecutive]...which is where i prepare four of the songs i've been working on this year....i pick the opening and the judges pick the second [which is a fun little surprise....]. so i get to work my ass off on 2 other pieces that i may never sing again. infuckingcredible.
however......i am extremely *excited* because my mom's taking me shopping tomorrow!! do u know how long its been since i've been shopping and someone else has paid????? way too damn long.
ick. my parents are arguing. it all started with the dreaded thanksgiving dinner shopping tonight. it's something along the lines of my mother wanting some quality, somewhat expensive thanksgiving food.....and my dad removing my mother's selections from the basket...replacing them with generic/cost effective stuff. if i were to choose a side....it's my mom's. i mean...my dad is ALWAYS EXTREMELY NEUROTICALLY THRIFTY...and i think it's wonderful that my mom wants to go all out for the holiday. i mean how often do the four of us sit down to dinner. more importantly....how often do the four of us sit down to dinner and actually converse/have a good time. i've had my moments w/ my dad's obnoxious thrifyness....and he can be really inconsiderate [eventhough i'm usually on his side because my mom has a tendency to overreact and shit sometimes.neways....
made some more cookies....working on the traditional christmas banner on the computer that will be pasted to the kitchen wall starting the day after thanksgiving...and messing with some pics/websites online. i'll post it when i'm done.
