my excitement for the week
I love that feeling when you've been working for two hours on homework and you KNOW....that's it's over and you have nothing to do for the rest of the night [well...there's always something i could do..but why do it now when i can procrastinate!]
OMG....so yesterday we're going to starbux...and jaclyn SLAMS her thumb in the car door.....i felt so bad i didn't know what to do and she was in serious pain! so i hauled ass home and we got her some ice packs. it's a really crazy bruise on her thumnail :(...hope you're feeling better , b.
but neways...then it was funny...because we were watching some movie with my parents.....and she was sitting in a reclining chair, built into our sofa....
i was on the floor playing with kodi...and i accidentally leaned up against the button on the side of the chair...that violently flips up the bottom of the recliner/footrest.. and she goes flying back, not knowing what hit her/expecting the chair to snap back in a reclined position. scared the shit out of her. poor little thing...but here's the best part...
there was a bar stool set up right in the line of fire of the reclining footrest [my mom set it up as kind of like a little tv tray for jaclyn...with an open bottle of water and a candy dish full of chocolate "snow caps" candies {tiny...smaller than your pinky nail.. dark chocolate mini chocolate kisses type things covered in white sprinkles)....
u guessed it. the recliner snaps opens up, slams into the stool and the candies/water going FLYING everywhere. ALL OVER. this all happened in like...1 1/2 -2 seconds....with no warning [i didn't even realize it!] it was so fucking hilarious. we all just sat there [execept for kodi...who darted out, attacking the candy] in shock. good times.
my poor parents...trying to watch a movie together/have a nice evening. then i come home and catastrophe strikes.
