new anime!!!
So the other day my bella
sundial recommended/commanded me to watch an anime called Soul Eater. Today I sat down and watched the first episode, and man...
We open up with a vaguely Toon World (Yu-Gi-Oh!, anyone?) looking setting and the voice over tells us about souls... shut up, Jesse McCartney... and stuff, and then this weird thing that reminds me a little of No-Face but with Tamaki of Ouran trapped inside pops up.
Then we get introduced to these characters, Maka and Soul, who fight off this weird HeartSoulless thing in a dark sort of street that reminds me strongly of Twilight Town. Soul, apparently, is Maka's weapon, and their goal is to get him to eat 99 soul "egg" soul things before they turn into demons, and one witch's soul so that he can become a Death Sythe (Gundam Wing!). Only some stuff goes wrong... but anyway.
THIS ANIME IS SO FRIGGIN' AWESOME.
I've only watched the first episode, but I'm gonna go on a marathon tomorrow.
Oh, and my icon is of Maka and Soul. It's so pretty, Ria-bella! ♥
