so today I get my NYtimes email and i'm reading it, and it seems like half of the stories are password protected. So me, being the presumptuous person that I am, assumed that they'd made the entire online subscription part of their 'ny timeselect' crap where you have to pay (ha) for it. I'll take my free paper and lose out on the opinion articles, kthanks. so now I'm trying to read my newspaper this morning, and it seems like its telling me that I can't because its asking for whatever password from my email screen. Now I get really pissy and 'damn the man' and all entitled, it was probably great to watch. So i send an email to their response thing about how they're sneaky shits for trying to make their paper require a paid subscription (I believe a used the term 'de facto' somewhere in it) without informing their loyal customers. and something about underestimating their readers. hehe. I'm pretty sure i'm pms-ing--the eternal, yet always applicable excuse.

and then, in the end, i go back to my email and realize it was only asking to re-state my usual password.
HAHA.
so tonight I get a polite email back from some dude saying that timesselect is only for the op-ed stuff and some multimedia things and ya. and saying that he hopes I keep reading nytimes.com.

I'm a jerk. go ahead and say it. but I always enjoy being young and opinionated and sounding smart to people older than I. so i think it was worth it.

ps: friday is so close I can smell it.
shit, I have to get my car key from justin. shitshitshit.
