Broken streaks
I caught the end of the Sharks game Saturday night and watched the Oilers break San Jose's win streak at nine games. I took a nap Sunday afternoon and slept long enough to miss my daily LiveJournal post, breaking my writing streak at 41 days.
I'm especially bummed because I even had something fun to write about; I just wanted to get a bit of rest in before I sat down in front of the computer (potentially getting sucked in for the rest of the day). Anyway, I was going to post about another weird dream, a nightmare that I had Saturday. Unfortunately, I've lost all of the details already, but I do recall the essence of the dream: I couldn't tell whether I was asleep or awake. There were several levels of wakefulness involved, and I was totally lost as to which were real and which were dreams. Notably, the dream confused me into thinking that I was still dreaming when I was actually awake. That was not a good feeling.
(And hopefully that paragraph didn't just leave you as confused as I was.)
