Yesterday me and my Mum popped into London for some shopping, and we decided to go to one of those Booths that sell West End tickets as we walked through Leicester Square. So, we got some tickets to Hairspray for 75 squid each, which considering it was for that night and they were front stalls was pretty good. And OMG.
ONFFWBGUOJE G#
IT WAS SO GOOD! Michael Ball is hilarious, who knew? And also, something I didn't realise until I got there and saw it was, Ben from the Andrew Lloyd Webber Tv show about Jospeph was in it, and he was really good. Anyway, I now have a new ship, that being Tracy/Link of course.
I've seen the film, but the West End musical was just so much better. And the songs were AMAZING. Although I was pretty annoyed Ladies Choice wasn't included, so I guess that song much have been written for the film? idk.
Me and my mum were fangirling, as we were all grinning and squeeling and loving it all. We brought the CD and mug OH YEAH.
Oh, and the actors that played Tracy and Link were so cute! Like, when the light wasn't on them they were giggling and as they ran off to the side of the stage they still held hands through the wings. I was such a fan!girl. And during the curtain call when they were the actors and not the characters, he had his arm wrapped around her waist, and he kept kissing her head and I was all OMGENBGETBGU. And then the lights went off them and they all ran off stage and I look at them and they kissed and I went really loudly AWWWW. Lol.
And then when we came back me and my Mum put the CD on and were dancing and singing REALLY loudly. It was odd, and I sang so much my voice now stings, lol.
For Theatre Studies I have to write a 5-10minute script, with the following characters - One that's inspirational; one that's dead; one that's a fairytale character [any Disney character will suffice, though]; and one random. And they all have to be girls.
I chose - Dawn french, Mrs Wallis Simpson, Dory from Finding Nemo & Bridget Jones.
Dawn French cos I lovelovelove her, Mrs Simpson cos I think her and Bridget Jones will be hilarious together, and I also really love her and her husbands story. It's so romantic. And Dory, cos, how funny it that going to be, with her loss of short term memory? LOL. I just hope I can write it well. Argh.
This entry has been very rushed and odd and fnrbgoebg. Bye.
