a customer came in to pick their computer up after a spyware/virus cleaning. before saying anything else of note, he says, "if i ever found the people who do this stuff, i'd kill them myself!" then begins lamenting about how awful the people who make viruses are. next, he draws a strange parallel with the people going up for trial recently for the WTC attack. "why bother? just give everyone who lost someone in the attack a knife, then let them all slice them and put salt in the wound." now, of course i've heard this eye-for-an-eye diatribe before, but what really speckled this particular incident with irony was the bumper sticker i saw in his rear windshield as he drove away.. "Life is precious."
