trying the daily thing again. need to collect thoughts that i should be jotting down and just let them go instead. tmg film screening tonight at housing works in nyc, used bookstore/cafe. picked up john vanderslice - cellar door cd ($5), team dresch - personal best cd ($5), warren zevon biography, 'ill sleep when i'm dead' ($8), and of course, the new mountain goats album on vinyl (LIMITED PURPLE EDITION, BOOYAH) for $18. spendy mcspenderson.
totally friggin exhausted. people pooh-pooh my "constant" (read: not that frequent, really) going out to shows and things in nyc, but they're really the only time i feel inspired to do anything important. otherwise, i just sit around playing friggin video games. if i could only keep the inspiration going throughout the next day, i might actually have some outlet for whatever creativity might be lurking in me.
can't think so good anymore, going to go read this book (so far, it's great, couldn't wait and started it on the train), and crash.
