Smashing Pumpkins "Tarantula" video
Why is Pitchfork so stupid? Just because there's a lot of people in the video doesn't mean they're all members of the band.
Anyway, I wasn't liking this much in the first half, but it grew on me more in the second. I think the video misses the essence of the song a little. I mean, "Tarantula" could be the album's title track "Zeitgeist." Its chorus is how everyone feels now. I would have made the video more youthful and dramatic. Corgan's acting should be more supercharged, like in "The End is the Beginning is the End" and "Ava Adore". But it sort of creates
its own thing that half works. And he gets to shoot lasers from his eyes.
