(no subject)
I sort of figured it was time to update again, as its been a while.
I started work three weeks ago- administrative assistant to the vice president of enrollment management at Eastern Nazarene College. Everyone is super nice, and the work isn't bad. Its been slow so far as I'm just starting but it should pick up. I'm learning to manage budgets on a large scale. This may come in handy at another time. Sometimes I even come home for lunch.
I picked up a desk from my mother's house, so my apartment is just about finished. The offer still stands for visitors. I work 9-3 Monday - Friday. Starting Sept 5th I will have classes Monday in the early evening and Wednesday until later in the evening.
Avril Levine is on SNL... can I just say her back up singers are absolutely ridiculous? They must be at least 40, dressed as if they were 17 and if it were 1988... I don't know if I could deal with myself if I were occupied as such. Maybe it pays the bills.
On my way to CVS around 11:30/midnight I was "gently" rear-ended at the top of newport and beale. There is a left turn lane and left turn light there. I was at the front of the line, waiting for the light. Suddenly my car jerked forward and I felt myself jarred. I honked my horn and looked back to get a shrug from the man behind me. There wasn't any damage but boy did it shake me up.
Now, 40 min later, I've had my iced tea, picked up my neuralgia medicine and am getting sleepy again.
