New Calling
Well, Ontario and I got new callings today. We are going to be team-teaching the Marriage and Family Development Sunday School class. I am really excited. I really enjoyed that class, and I love the manual. Plus, it will be fun to teach with my husband. Of course we are getting released just when I feel like I am finally getting my old calling down. :)
Last week I got to go visit my sister in Chicago. She is moving, so I helped her sort and pack and watch kids while she was getting stuff done. I haven't seen her since last summer, so it was nice to have a visit. It was also the first time she got to meet Gabriel, and he got to meet some of his cousins. They were so cute together!
I also got to see my brother Evan who just got home from his mission. They had a whole group of family drive over from Ohio to visit for the weekend, which was a blast. I love having time to just visit and hang out with my siblings and cousins and other assorted relatives.
Ontario and I discovered this really cool store yesterday. They sell board games at 30%-50% off, and you can also rent games. I think that is such a good idea, because then you can try it out before investing all that money in a game you won't play. We bought the game Munchkin (very fun) and rented Killer Bunnies and Carcassonne. I am really excited about it. Now we need to invite some people over and have a game night.
