(no subject)
ok so my day of travel...
we decided to go to DC so we didnt have to leave here until 6 am, well we went the wrong way on 285 so we started running .. we got to the parking spot at 8 and there was no parking so we got free valet (which i didnt like very much)
checking in at the apo wasnt so bad, we went through the short TSA line, but we didnt have great seats..oh well.. it was a smooth flight. we had this really good looking FA and we tried to take a picture of him for Hood but we ended up getting in trouble. LOL !!!
so DCA (well the old part) sucks! we found our way to the metro and the museum with no major problems...
the museum was awsome!! i wanna go to a few of the others and i REALLY REALLY wanna go to the cherry blossom festival
i brought back space food for david, took a ton of pictures, a got a few over things but didnt spend much money
so we headed back to the metro and the apo... we got there and the TSA line was long so we changed schoes in the line it was funning. when we got to the gate, the flight that looked great last night was capped out and we had to got to IAD, that took almost two hours, but i learned a lot about DC. and IAD is a much nicer apo than DCA.
we checked in and the new girl tried to give us super shitty seats... the sup beside her put us in exit row!! we sit down and hear that b/c of weather we had to reroute and it was going to take longer to get home and then we were #15 in waiting on the runway.
ok SOOOOOOOOOOO we got to ATL at 9 and i got home at 11... im sooo tired and man what a long day
on the bright side i got to go to 2 new apos and we kept getting discounts everywhere and short lines, it was a great cheap day trip!!!
