Witnessed something fascinating about my babygirl today.
We were trying to take some pictures of My kids and my best friend's kids (two 4.5 year olds, a 9 month old and Arden (2.5 weeks)). It was funny and since we are all low expectation types, no one was frustrated. But it was a little chaotic and since Arden can't sit obviously she was being propped or held by Elias, and she was definitely getting overstimulated by all the hands on her. So she went from crying and fussing and purple to passed out dead asleep amid the chaos.
My lesson is she apparently has a shut off switch. Totally cool. The exact opposite of Eli who has no ability whatsoever to shut out even the most minor of stimuli.
