Hey world.
Still pregnant. ALMOST 38 weeks. Would like to do some stuff (walking etc.) to get the ball rolling here, but now my blood pressure is really getting high. Just standing and walking to get a glass of water sends it from an acceptable (but higher than normal) 135/85, to 150/95.
My doctors are just as chill this time as las time, and are holding me steady. They will consider inducing me at 39 weeks if I want them to, which I vacillate between yes and no, as my pain control for my neuropathic pain is awful right now and I am in more than a lot of pain... and find it frankly ridiculous to STILL have to be on bedrest for a different reason. And don't want to lose my vision again this time like I did with Eli or have any unexpected problems happen. I imagine they will not induce me unless my BP is super high or my organs start shutting down because of the pre-eclampsia... though I will probably have to go twice a week if I don't pick induction (which would be one week from tomorrow).
I absolutely can not sleep (day or night) for some reason and so I'm exceptionally exhausted. Tonight I took two meds which I don't usually take but need anyway (a category B muscle relaxer for my spasming back) and a benadryl since allergies are driving me out of my mind. I'm hoping this will get me more than 3 hours of sleep tonight... because I'm just about over lying in a dark room, in tons of pain, listening to people snore and hoping i'll fall asleep soon.
I'm thinking Friday would be an awesome day to have a baby. Send good thoughts!
