Spent another few hours in Labor and Delivery last night. I was in some pretty serious pain. I have been all relaxed etc about the insane amount of contractions I have every day. I don't really pay attention to them anymore, but yesterday afternoon was totally insane. I waited a few hours in really serious pain from cramps that were completely different from usual, Mark told me to call, I called the Doc and as usual they said to go to Triage. So I waited a couple more hours for things to calm down and mark to get home, and I was still in pretty serious pain. I was sweating on the way to the hospital and couldn't breathe so well because of the pain. Fortunately nothing was happening as far as the contractions progressing my cervix or anything. The good news was I got monitored for contractions for a couple of hours, and I am not crazy and I am indeed having contractions every four minutes or so, before and after a couple of liters of IV fluids. No one knows why.
I'm just satisfied with not having any progression, but it does leave me in the difficult place of figuring out WHEN is a day when I should call the doctor. I HATE calling, and going, etc. but I don't want to make an error.
