Simple Pleasure...

Today I am working in our Waldorf office. I was very stressed about being down here with the possibility of traveling back home this evening in the snow. I was anxious all night long about it. Had trouble getting to sleep (which seems to often happen when I want to get up at the crack of dawn.) I would have chosen to skip coming here and stay in Annapolis but I ordered over $400.00 worth of stamps for the office from the post office down here from a guy that was probably one of the most pleasant postal workers I have ever spoken with. They only take big phone orders once you have established a relationship with them so the fact that he made an exception was very nice of him. Of course I had to guarantee that I would pick them up this morning so snow or no snow I needed to be here. Basically the drive was dark, cold and long. Everything seemed to make my morning unpleasant until... I park in the parking lot here and noticed that the post office is LITERALLY directly across the street. I can't believe I never noticed it before. So I no longer needed to stress about trying to find out where they were located and whether or not I would manage to get there. Sometimes the littlest things can make me happy, who says I am hard to please.
