There are definately pros and cons to having your own office at the workplace. In Annapolis I have a desk in a room I share with my co-worker. In Waldorf I have a desk in a room with a door... therefore all to myself. This is nice because the rest of the office carries on quite a bit and I like the solitude of my own space. Now keeping in mind I only work part time here in Waldorf I do realize that my desk gets used when I am not here. Ordinarily I would have no problem with this but I really didn't need to open my drawer this morning to find that a jar (used) of vaseline was now residing in my desk. Apparently someone else prefers the solitude of my work space as well. Therefore the private office thing is now on the "con" list for Waldorf.
