I'll start my journey with one suitcase, a backpack...some books for the thesis. A list of important phone numbers that Maja gave me of people in Rome. I'll buy some phonecards so I can hear a familiar voice, either mom or dad or Mary. And then I'll take with me the worn-out wallet with $300 in it, and Paul's Chinese characters scribbled on a piece of paper revealing a language I don't understand.
