I've decided I want to be creative again. I go through so many different artistic phases and none of them seem to stick with me. One year I'm sketching portraits, one year it's photography, another it's making mooosic. I haven't figured out what this year's art is going to be.
But in other news, this week off has been ever so delightful. All I have to do for UC apps is push submit (kind of), reuniting with Lana, Anais, Kacy, Tasha, and Jen at Anais' surprise party certainly made up for other more...awkward surprise party's. And speaking of awkward, check out the gramps doing the awkward turtle...
This was taken at thanksgiving, which, by the way, was worth giving thank for, even though I realized later that we didn't even have my favorite green bean casserole. Fortunately we had plenty of cahraazy board games to play that were able to hush my pent up desire for soggy green beans. After dessert had been served and a fire had been made, the eight of us either rolled around on the floor clutching our over stuffed bellies, or sat in a big comfy chair and nodded off. We never went around and said what we were thankful for and we never broke the wishbone, but I don't think anyone really needed to.
Last night I went over to Tyler's house where the plan was to go into San Francisco and ice skate, but somehow we all got to lazy and instead Matt, Caitlin, Drew, and I ended up on Tyler's bed telling riddles for like 5 hours. I am now riddled with riddles so y'all better watch yo' ass. Sorry, I've been hanging out with Rod too much (Disclaimer: Not possible). So after that we finally came down to the world of Wii and watched Bridget wack-a-mole and Ryan happy dance until it was decided that Pie was needed. So Matt and I bravely set out to find pie. We searched high and low, Matt's kitchen, Matt's garage, Matt's...floor. We did eventually find...in the dumpster. So we were off again on a quest for pie at safeway. We spotted the pie after a terrifying moment of not being able to find pie and so we went back to Tyler's to eat the pie. ....Pie. Now that I think about it...none of that as in chronological order.
As for today, it started off with the most perfect hike in the loverly hills of Marin with Hadas, followed by the amazing movie of Bobby with Rod, Bridget, and Janet, and ended at the Rainforest Cafe in SF (AKA the produce section of Safeway) for Piera's surprise party.
Rod, Vinney, and Hadas- you are the best people ever, but despite that, we're all going to hell and you know it.
Keep it up life, you're making up for all those crappy days!
