Yaaaaah Baby!
What a productive few days I've just had. I am now a proud Aunt and because of that I desperately want a baby of my own, so any and all sperm donors should contact me immediately. Yesterday I finally forced myself to sit down and write a million thank you letters to those who sent me either a present or money for graduation. I'm officially done with Chili's but not out of work since the day after my last day at Chili's Jen Listug's mom asked me if I wanted to sing with Theo's band at her mothers something-th birthday bash. So I'm getting paid to sing super delicious oldies like "Ain't Nobody's business if I Do" and "Lovin' That Man of Mine". So excited for that! I got my diploma today with Rod and we finally sent off our transcripts much to dissatisfaction of Ms. Snooty McGee over at the office who until today we had never seen before. My dad and I went to the apple store and not only did we get me a laptop, but we also managed some amazing deal where I get a free printer/scanner AND, for an extra 50 dollars which I forked over myself, a 30GB iPod! Boo yeah! I also cleaned my room, made a new friend (could I sound any more like a 5 year old?), baked, and organized college crap.
Because I had so much success with getting the things I really needed to get done, I had no time to do the fun stuff on my list...or anything on my summer list for that matter. But tomorrow I'm taking a hike, road trip planning with David and Jack, youth group, and then hopefully something from my list. Now I'm ganna go tinker with my new computer!
