rancid-fucking awesome but there's no question about that.
while in line, there was this guy behind us that danced in the street at almost every red light. it was fucking hilarious. he went right up to the the windows of the cars with people that stared and made nasty looks. man it was funny. talking about it doesn't justify seeing it.he even gave a bit of a strip show. two hot guys with him. one had a gf but the other was free as far as i know. gorgeous. n e way, we get in. i hate waiting for bands to set up. annoying as hell. UGH!saw 5 people from school. only said hi to one and that was josh when the show was over. the security guards are like friggin superheros. watched them most of the time. its the same guys from every other concert i've been to in roseland.(tonight was my fourth time) at one point, this crowd surfer didn't want to walk all the way around to get back in the crowd so he jumped the gate. the security guard grabbed his shirt but he grabbed it too late so the guy ran back in the crowd. the security guard and two others jumped the barricade and chased after him. it was one of the most amazing things i've seen. these three huge guys moved at lightening speed to catch an idiot. AND they succeeded, they even mananged to drag his ass out the door. there were two more incidents with crazy fans where security had to wrestle with morons. one girl got hit bad in the face but stayed in the crowd. matt from rancid came over and asked if she was alright. tim was interesting to watch. his face expressions were....it was like he just had sex and he was all calm and relaxed. the poor guy still has his brody tattoo. that bitch. so yea. every opening act that i've seen in roseland, has always said something about boston. they all seemed to have played the night before in boston. AND they all say "fuck boston". i wonder if they say "fuck new york" in boston. the guy in....tiger army..i think it was... was like "this will be our lil secret but new york can kick boston's ass any day." lars from rancid mentioned something about puerto rican girls and how they were looking for some. "not to be picky or anything." ahhhhhh what else.....someone brought their grandma, she was all punked out. there's always someone that stands out and everyone sees. she was that person tonight. so many...30+ yr. olds were going nuts. great time just watching the people.
