Mmmm, I do like the idea of a margarita-based reception...for just about anything, assuming reasonable weather! Something similar done around mojitos would work equally well, methinks.

Well, I've been to b'nai mitzvahs that featured fancy martini bars.

Mind you, that was back in the glammed-up 90s. Haven't been booked at any super-fancy ones lately, and perhaps that's not the fashion for Brits anyway?

In the event, it was kir royales.

The best bit was watching both my daughters dancing with inflatable guitars and glow-necklaces late into the night.
