Gosh, it certainly has been a while! What better day to update than Christmas! So, the semester finally culminated to a delicious end. Classes went well, grades were good, and life went on. Intersession began, friends came in, and we celebrated Christmas... once again! Now I have electronics I need to learn to use and clothes I need to wear! Only two semesters left and I get to look back at college as an 'experience'. A relatively wonderful experience because I made it memborable. College is what you make of it; just like life. I just like to look at my glass of Orange Juice as half full... just makes it seem like there's more in it :-)
Here's an excellent quote I found on life and acceptance, take from it what you wish.
"All my life I had been looking for something, and everywhere I turned someone tried to tell me what it was. I accepted their answers too, though they were often in contradiction and even self-contradictory.
I was naïve. I was looking for myself and asking everyone except myself questions which I, and only I, could answer. It took me a long time and much painful boomeranging of my expectations to achieve a realization everyone else appears to have been born with: that I am nobody but myself."
