Insanity...
Life is absolutely insane.
I have no time, no break, no room to breathe.
When I'm not at school, I'm either thinking about it or preparing for it.
That's the insane part.
Two 12 hour shifts in a row of watching people die, complain, and suffer.
What a career! Starting off clinicals in a charity ER and the ICU are
not the proper ways to ATTRACT people to the nursing profession.
Duh.
I should run a nursing school.
Things would be different.
Very different.
Life outside of school is actually quite enjoyable.
Things with the boy get better each time and improve with each phone call.
Yes, the phone calls are still coming. :-)
That makes me happy - hence the smile in the above line.
I have so much to do- caremaps to make, tests to study for.
This isn't what life should be about.
Preparing for some 'big test' or a day at the hospital.
Life should be about preparing to live.
Which is something you can't prepare for.
I guess this is what life is like.
Stress.
This weekend was insane too. My mom retired yesterday and today was spent
with the family.
I love my family.
Seriously.
Everyone else's family seems boring and delusional compared to mine.
That's so terrible to say, but it's true.
I hope everyone has a family like mine.
Be thankful for what you have, because before you know it,
it will be gone.
