I had a nice wholesome weekend for a change.

I’ve been looking to pick up for a tea pot with a loose tea strainer for few months. I had a glass one that I broke and I’ve been missing it. Saturday I went shopping at St. Jacobs farmers market and found the perfect one. It’s even stainless steel so I don’t have to worry about it. Sunday I took my grandmother out for lunch and caught up with her. She saw a cute little girl and suggested that I find a nice girl, get married and have a kid. This is the first time that she has pestered me to do the marriage and spawn thing but I have a feeling that it’s not going to be the last.

After that I went over to my friend Lynn’s house with my tax papers. I played go fish with her spawn while she entered numbers in the computer. I knew that working three part time jobs at the same time would screw things up at tax time. I just didn’t know how bad it would be so I’ve been saving and hoping that the RRSP contributions I make with payroll deduction would help. I was able to buy the needed RRSPs and still have enough savings put aside to a new roof on my house this summer AND have someone finish the renovations that I started on my downstairs bathroom!
