Neighbours!
Well what can I say about Neighbours recently??
Aside from a handful of good episodes, I am shocked and appalled at the direction Neighbours seems to be going in! What irritates me the most is the way Paul Robinson is portrayed! Hello Writers, can you make your mind up please on what you want Paul to be? I am angry and saddened that Paul has become this sadistic, evil barstard and seemingly no longer cares about anyone or anything. He is simply out for revenge. What's even sadder is that fans are believing he was always like this! They like to use the excuse 'prision changes a man' but I disagree. Nobody could change this much. Paul was never like this before, he wasn't evil and he was someone everyone liked. He was a legend. I feel sad now that people are still calling him this when he is a fraction of the man he used to be.
On the plus side, we have Gail entering UK screens soon which I cannot wait to see. Fiona Corke is simply amazing and I adored her stint on the show so cannot wait to see it again on UK screens. It was extremely good until the last few weeks when TPTB had to ruin the magic of Paul and Gail on screen by making Paul opt out of choosing Gail or Izzy. He went with a floozy instead. It disgusts me how the writers think they are making a grand job of this. The Paul/Gail magic had been treated with respect and dignity until then and then they had to go and ruin it. It is awful, it really is. I'm so sad at this.
I am becoming extremely frightened that they will completely botch my favourite couple Karl and Susan soon. With the god awful plot of Izzy having Karl's baby (What fucking genius thought that up?), they're not far off it. Karl should never be tied to Izzy and now he will be because of this baby. He will always be connected to her in some way and I fucking hate it. Susan has ties to the Kinski clan and while I'm not a huge fan of it, I do like the Kinski kids mostly. Karl and Susan have ties to others now and it saddens me because once upon a time, their only ties were too each other. Today's Oz episode with Sky screaming at Karl saying he told Susan about Stingray being the father saddened me too. She had a point, Karl had no right to mention it/suggest it and Susan should have backed off. They are being ruined for the sake of dramatic plotlines.

Elle concocts her lowest scheme yet to win back Dylan. Sky fears Karl may have leaked her secret to Susan. Reckless Stingray comes up with a "brilliant idea" to impress a top director.
Tuesday 15th August - Episode 5032
Elle struggles to maintain her outrageous ruse as Sky does the noble thing and gives Dylan up forever. Izzy blabs Paul's darkest secret in a jealous rage. Steph refuses to believe that Lyn is having a secret affair.
Wednesday 16th August - Episode 5033
Paul's murderous past comes back to haunt him - but Lyn's determined to save his soul. Karl can't get Izzy's passionate embrace out of his mind. Katya entices Max to runaway for the weekend. Toadie starts dancing to Ned's show tune!
Thursday 17th August - Episode 5034
Anne wins Janelle's sympathy - until Janelle finds something disturbing in Anne's bag. Lou returns, mysteriously out of love with Mishka and ready for someone new: Janelle! Karl spends his first night at the Kinski house as Susan's official "boyfriend".
Friday 18th August - Episode 5035
Katya realises she's falling in love with Max. Anne goes to great lengths to protect her secrets - but just what is she hiding? Lou's weird new love knows no bounds - and Janelle's happy to exploit it!
Monday 21 August - 5036
Paul makes Carmella a truly indecent proposal. Katya tells astonished Max they should be honest about their attraction. Boyd and Janae get their gear off for an exotic photo shoot, funded by Janae's infamous Nan.
Tuesday 22 August - 5037
Devastated Katya realises the depth of her mistake - and meddling Izzy tries to save Max from temptation. Susan finds shocking evidence of more lies. Ned and Toadie's seductive mission backfires. Steph's career as a prankster ends in disaster.
Wednesday 23 August - 5038
History repeats as Susan and Karl are once again at odds over lying Izzy. Elle takes a deadly risk in order to continue her sham. Steph springs Lyn and Paul in the act! The wait is over for Sky when she receives her baby's test results.
Thursday 24 August - 5039
Elle's medication leaves her desperately sick for real. Paul claims his pound of flesh from Carmella. Anne interferes with Bree's love life. Janelle finds a bizarre tattoo on Lou's back - and he has no idea how it got there!
Friday 25 August - 5040
Bree discovers that Anne isn't quiet as innocent as she seems. Lou's "missing week" prompts Karl to give a frightening diagnosis. Karl experiences teething problems upon moving in with Susan. Boyd's plan to get Janae fired backfires badly.
