Gigi & The Charmaines were a Cincinnati, OH girl group. In addition to their own single releases, they also sang back-up on various recordings by James Brown, Conway Twitty, Gary US Bonds, Little Willie John, + more. Their 1964 version of Ike & Tina Turner's "I Idolize You" wails! As much as I like Ike & Tina Tuner, I think the Charmaines version
