The Wedding Planner
So, in the fortnight since we set a date for the wedding we have managed to:
Book a venue for the ceremony/meal/piss up. (www.lakesidetower.co.uk)
Arrange a registrar. (It is his birthday on our wedding day!)
Get a friend to act as official photographer.
Have a friend agree to make little soaps as table favours for guests.
Have a friend agree to make boxes in which to put those soaps.
Have some friends agree to help with the design and making of all the stationary.
Get my gran to make the cake.
Get my gran's friend to decorate the cake.
Draw up a guest list.
Order postcards for 'save the date' cards.
Make appointments to try on dresses on Friday.
Create a gift list online.
Create a wedding website.
Not bad for two weeks work! Still have loads to organise, but the stressful part (venue and registrar) is sorted, so now I feel like we can spend a bit of time on the details.
