Wow. No physical labor for over a year and then jumping back into it is, to say the least, punishing. I know I'll hurt tomorrow. But the work is fun and I like my boss and she made me a sandwich while I was busting ass so I think things will be good at this job. Except I fucked up a cookie batch, which sucked. On my FIRST DAY!!! But she didn't seem to mind (much).
Plus, an old, old, old friend of mine from Sacto found me on myspace and I was very happy about that. There are so many people I've lost touch with who I wish I hadn't. It feels good to reconnect with a person who had a positive impact on my life in the past.
And, I get to see my sweetie for the first time in 5 days tonight. So the world in all its forms is good, and life is pretty much perfect, as far as it can be. Some ancient, long-forgotten drama is reappearing this week, though, so watch this space for details. Oh, fun.
