Honestly, Christine was lonely. California was beautiful and her roommate was a hoot, her classmates were fun for the most part, and she was loving school. But that one thing that had become such a big part of her over the previous year wasn't around, and that made her heart ache. She missed Leonard. Her boyfriend, her fiance, her snuggle-buddy, her really superbe lover.
It wasn't as though they were days of travel away from each other. They were only in different parts of the contenient. But between school schedules and everything else, travel wasn't really happening. Hence the missing. And while she really missed his hugs and that dorky way he smiled after he'd just been kissed, not to mention just getting to talk with him face to face, her body... well, her teenaged hormones hadn't gone out of style yet.
So she locked herself in her bedroom, Cole Porter playing low in the background as she sent him a message:
Hey, beau. Do you know what I would love to do right now?
And then she sprawled out on her bed and waited.
