Helllllooooo. ♥

Aha, and because Chris knows how to take care of her boys, the hubby gets a popsicle and snuggles and the boyfriend gets a partner for private time.

In Right Kind of Medicine, Christine just flatout loves Leonard as hard as she can and that's that. Selfishly, she's not sure how she'd stay functional if he ever left her, because he's become such a part of her. Husband, partner in child-rearing, one of her best friends... There's a lot she depends on him to do, even if it's just his little kisses and "I love you"s. And lemme tell ya that Christine Chapel does not take lightly to being dependant on anybody. So the fact that she admits she's got such a symbiotic relationship with him that she can't afford to lose him, for her own sanity, is a pretty big freakin' deal. She was pretty much a goner from the start, totally smitten with the way he kissed her. But it just kept getting more and although that has its terrifying moments -- lord knows she's just barely coping with the xenopoly. and she had more than her fair of spazzes when David was born -- it's also been a really wonderful experience for her, one she's drawing out for as long as she can. And that means verbally kicking his ass if he tries to die, because she knows he doesn't like when she yells at him, except for when it's harmless and she just comes off looking overly sexy. Which, okay, Christine doesn't see, but if it works in her advantage to get him all hot and bothered when she points out how much of an ass he can be, so be it.

But in Pre-Med... Christine is baffled. Who is this snuggly boy and what does he want with her? And ohdearlord, why is he crazy enough to fall in love with her?! These are important questions she has. Except every time she tries to ask them, he just acts like she's the crazy one and woos her further. Chris has no idea what she's doing. She's never dated anyone this long before. She's never dated anyone who was perfectly happy to wait for sex with her, who was really quite okay with not getting it at all, though of course they are teenagers, so it's going to happen. And for all they have great sex, it tends to feel like they might be "making love," which, as a sometimes hidden Romantic idealist, Chris gets all blushy about. And when she says she never intends to leave him, just be a ways away for the sake of education? She totally means it. Because she's pretty sure she wants her first love (aside from her mom and dancing) to be the one that sticks. And not just for the Romantics of it, but because it's Leonard and he's perfect.

And a bonus!paragraph, for our mirrorverse: she kinda just wants to hug him and never let go. Not for science or sex or anything. She just wants to stay in his arms and make sure nothing and nobody can ever take him from her. And, yes, she knows that doesn't make much sense. But it's how she rolls over there.

Awwww.

In every verse, Leonard is melting just a lil' bit. RKOM is doing it all tearfully, Teen! is doing it with googly eyes, and Mirror is doing it far less obviously, but is going to give her a hug and tender kiss in return.

Haha, Leonard's a sap, right across the board. His assorted variations on Christine love it.

He totally is. He's got a craggy, grumpy exterior but a heart of utter gold underneath. He does love his Christine, in every reality and at every age. ♥
