I’m not going to talk about Children of Earth.
I’m not going to give my opinion on it.
I’m just going to say two things. Not spoilery, but you can skip them just in case. Go to the lj cut for the art.
First, that now I really wish I had kicked Russell T. Davies in the balls, HARD, when I had the opportunity, last summer.
And second, that I feel absurdly proud of myself.
Why, you might ask. Well, yesterday night, seeing that a full tablet (is that the word?) of dark chocolate wasn’t enough, I had to resort to booze. That, and drawing, helped. Considering that I was half drunk and that I had barely drawn for more than five months… the results were spectacular. It's not perfect, I know, but considering the circumstances... No wonder people resort to drinking and/or drugs to get inspired… Don’t worry, I’m NOT going to do it. I don’t have the money.
That said, I give you art. My favourite character from Torchwood.
Our beloved TRH. Things would have been much better if he had been in charge.
