It officially hit 105 at my closest weather station today. (108 in the parking lot again, but it was later when I finally got to the car.)
But! Look at this!
Look at those "high" temperatures! Especially on Sunday and Monday. Amazing for August. And it's a full week before it starts really warming up again.
For comparison, look at the LOW temperature predicted for tomorrow morning: 83. Yeah. At 9 PM it was 98. It's 93 now, at 11 PM. There literally is no relief.
