Lauren of American Duchess did one of the hairstyles from Kendra's soon-to-be-published book, 18th Century Hair & Wig Styling: History & Step-by-Step Techniques. And I am utterly blown away. I've been looking forward to the book and hopeful it will be useful, but I don't know exactly what to expect.
Except that Lauren's wig looks AMAZING. She freely admits that she's not so how at styling her hair on her own - and using the tutorial, she got results like that!
I'm particularly excited because it's not just the details of the hair arrangement that look good; the shape of the wig looks excellent from every direction. The right silhouette is so hard to get, though it's just as important for the look.
