Bandom is for lovers - yes?
So, after my Steve Forrest pic-spam was deleted (and I'm not annoyed, I respect the mod's decisions.), I began to ask myself what qualifies a band for bandom? As there are a lot of bands that are in no way part of bandom. (Muse, Billy Talent, Linkin Park, Breaking Benjamin, Trapt, Block Party, 30 Seconds to Mars...and Placebo -apparently. But there is still fic about them!)
Is it only about Stage Gay? Or must they be totally cute? (As this is always a subjective thing.) I also was thinking about the possibility that they need to be from the USA. But that would be a form of racism. Right?
Also in Placebo's case maybe it's because Stefan actually is gay? (Which would also explain Block Party.) I don't know. I'm just speculating at this moment in time and space.
Maybe it's that the core is FBR related and that it's hard to breach that? Or maybe it's that there need be some points of connection? But that's what Project Revolution was for! Also Music Award shows.
