I'd like to take this opportunity to commend the City of Cleveland for taking maintenance laziness to new and exciting extremes. At 1 pm today Dave and I discovered an exploded water main outside my apartment down the street a bit. I have no idea how long it had been like that, but there was an orange barrel sitting on the geyser. It is now 8pm, and in the past 7 hours the city's crack team of experts have managed to replace the orange barrel with a "caution" sign. That happened around 2:30pm. After they put that down, they left. My entire street has no water, nor has it all day, and the entire street is flooding, and apparently they just decided not to bother with it today.
So, again, mad props, Cleveland. Your people have taken worthlessness to a whole new level, and I bow to your overwhelming ignorance.
