-09 Beat- And I Can Stand Too

Where was I.. WHERE WAS I?! Why wasn't I there?! Why didn't I just find him and follow him like I wanted to- Did anybody know where he was?! Has anybody even TRIED to find him to see if he's still alive?! If he WAS?!
[There is a sound of heavy shoes beating against pavement and some light sniffling. A few moments of running, a short gasp, thud, clattering and scraping as Bridget trips on the broken street and falls on his hands and knees. For the next couple of minutes there is strained, almost bloodcurdling screaming and then distant crying, as his comm is still on the pavement. Soon enough he composes himself and faintly he can be heard reassuring himself. Be strong. You're a man. Men don't cry like this. Tess wouldn't want to see you this way. Stand up and dust yourself off. And just.. Keep moving. Stand up.
The communicator scrapes once more as he picks it up and continues walking. When he finally speaks, his voice has lost something. The innocence that was key in his usual tone seemed to die, just a little bit.]
Learn something from all of this.. Somebody please just learn- We're all capable of anything if it means enough.
You can't-- live. Unless you have something worth suffering, or dying for to give it all meaning.
... Where is he? Where is Tess? I want to see him..

{OOC-And now he's taken (a rather heavy) Testament to the lake to clean him off before the Scientists take him away. He would not appreciate surprise company, but feel free to try and talk him into some. Of course, people like Johnny Sfondi, Wolfwood, Livio, and Shinji are OK to chat him up/pop up at the lake.}
