(no subject)
I dream like every single night I'm here. It's crazy, because I usually don't remember my dreams, but here I almost always remember them. Yeah, it's cool and some of the dreams are lovely, but there are a few I'd rather just not have.
Last weekend I hung out at SVA with some Portland peeps and it was just marvelous. The Decemberists canceled like 10 shows of their tour, including the one I was supposed to go to. I'm so disappointeddd. I am going to see Josh Ritter on Friday, though, so that should make up for it. After the concert I'm picking up Beth in China Town - I can't wait to see her!
I can't flipping wait to go home. It's not that I'm not enjoying my time here or anything, I just need a break, and I miss my family a lot. I've seen them like twice in three months. That's been pretty damn weird/tough. Yay, I'm excited to see them too! I'm also looking forward to spending my birthday at home. NOTE: I am NOT homesick. I'd just rather be home than here! =)
