So I highly suggest that you all read the book Anna Karenina (spelling?..oh dear) by Leo Tolstoy. No, i have not read it all, but I'm getting there. It's very long and at some times kind of slow, but you will find that you stumble upon amazing little patches of writing. Just amazing writing. really. Today at work I was reading and came upon a section where a character was dealing with the realization of death and it was just beautiful..not death...but the writing. UHH...amazing...and then about a half an hour later, another character's evolving love for one of the other characters was being described, I was just amazed by the beauty and insight of Tolstoys words..uhh..I love reading a good book. So anywho, State solo and ensemble is tommorow....uhh...wish us luck. Oh.. and I'm kid of peeved because my mother won't let me join the Peace Corps. Now I know that my chances of getting in at my age would be low but really! Can't a Lady Try?! My mother has been irritated with me lately. I can always tell because she starts out all of her sentences with "Let me tell you something Honey!...." And then I mock her and ask why she chooses to inform me about life like a southern woman who enjoys the comforts of soul food. .....That makes her angry. Toodles!
