Great song. Great location. Great costume (though pantsless-hotpants are fine, but lack of any pants whatsoever is just odd-the cape/wings make up for it). Even great colour scheme...
Horrible concept, horrible choreography, horrible editing (well, that might have been deep sixed by the concept).
This song is so far from a modern bass driven pop song that doing the 'bass bounce' editing trick just makes it look like you had no idea what was going on. Also, the choreography is just odd. And come on, as 'nuns' praying every time the lyrics says 'pray.' Could we be a bit less on the nose? So far, Florence + The Machine have yet to release a great clip. Half of 'Rabbit Heart' is good, the other half...
It's almost like the director shows up and gets a lot of footage of 'hey, just ... dance around or something' 'let's just do something fun for coverage'...and by the time they get into post, half the clip is coverage, and there's nothing there to make it work.
